Product Quality and Freshness

The quality and freshness of our caviar are our top priorities. All La Perle du Caviar products are shipped in vacuum-sealed packaging and under controlled temperature conditions to ensure maximum product integrity.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83 and the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005), consumers have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery.

However, this right does not apply to perishable food items or sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once they have been opened after delivery (Art. 59, paragraph 1, letters d and e).

Since caviar is a fresh and perishable product, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted after delivery.

Refunds

A full or partial refund may only be granted under the following circumstances:

  • The product is damaged or non-compliant upon delivery;
  • The packaging is visibly compromised at the time of receipt;
  • An order fulfillment error occurred (wrong product, size, or type).

In such cases, customers must contact our customer service within 24 hours of delivery, providing:

  • A detailed description of the issue,
  • Photographs of the product and packaging,
  • The order number and proof of purchase.

After verification, La Perle du Caviar may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a refund for the purchase amount, or
  • Send a replacement product.

Refunds will be made to the same payment method used at the time of purchase within 7–10 business days of approval.
